STATE PARK

Walk a real dinosaur trail. Montana's largest state park features badland formations and the fossil remains of Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops and more. You'll find a visitor center at the park entrance with interpretive exhibits great for kids.

MEET THE PARK MANAGER

Chris Dantic is the park manager at Makoshika State Park. He began his career with Montana State Parks in 2003. He has worked at Chief Plenty Coups, First Peoples Buffalo Jump, Giant Springs, Sluice Boxes, Tower Rock and Smith River State Parks. Chris has a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Oregon University in History. He also has responsibility for Medicine Rocks, Brush Lake and Pirogue Island State Parks.
