Bannack State Park's Skating Pond Closed

Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) announced this morning that the continued warm weather has made the ice unsafe for skating on the Bannack State Park skating pond. The state park's skating pond is now closed and will not reopen until next winter.

Bannack State Park itself is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Come on out and enjoy the early spring weather without the crowds at the park. For more information on the park, call 834-3413.

Bannack State Park is located 25 miles southwest of Dillon, just 4 miles off Highway 278.
