Youth Program: Learn about Osprey at Frenchtown Pond State Park - Wednesday, July 31 at 3pm
(Helena, MT) – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) announced today:
What: Join us at Frenchtown Pond State Park for a Youth Program about Osprey. This program is part of the “Montana's Multitude of Myths, Misconceptions, and Little Known Facts” summer speaker series.
An Osprey's highly visible nest and its exceptional tolerance for people make the Osprey one of the most readily observed of all birds of prey. Come and learn about Ospreys and their life cycle, from courtship to migration.
Families, youth organizations and kids of all ages are welcome.
Presenter: Award-winning Montana Author Donna Love has written numerous nature books for young people. She regularly brings her interactive natural history and art programs to grade schools and public events in Montana and the Pacific Northwest. She makes her home in Seeley Lake where her husband, Tim, is a District Ranger for the U.S. Forest Service. They have three grown children and one grandchild.
When: Wednesday, July 31 from 3pm – 4pm
Where: Frenchtown Pond State Park
