Montana State Parks & Recreation Board - Next Meeting in Great Falls area on Wednesday, Feb. 26

(Helena, MT) – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) announced today that the Montana State Parks & Recreation Board will meet on Wednesday, February 26 at First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park in Ulm, Montana.  

The Board meeting starts at 8:30am and includes informational updates on; the Fish Creek State Park Draft Management Plan, proposed legislation for next year’s legislative session, an operations budget update for next year’s legislative session, compensating the Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) for perpetual easements at Lewis & Clark Caverns and Thompson Falls state parks to eliminate the annual lease fees, and an update on the Montana State Parks 75th Anniversary events and promotions.

The public is invited to attend; public comments will start at 9am.
