Volunteer Orientation at First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park - Friday, March 14 10am-3pm
(Great Falls, MT) – Join Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) at First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park near Ulm, MT for our annual Volunteer Orientation.
This volunteer orientation is for new and existing volunteers. It is an excellent opportunity to meet First Peoples Buffalo Jump staff and volunteers and learn how you can make a valuable contribution to the park and the community.
Volunteer opportunities include Visitor Center and Gift Shop Attendant, Field Trip Hike Leader, Archaeological Site Monitor, Maintenance Worker, and Special Events Worker.
The day will consist of presentations on park programs, a tour of the park, and engaging activities. Lunch will be provided.
When: Friday, March 14 10:00am-3:00pm
Where: First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park - Visitor Center, 342 Ulm Vaughn Road, Ulm, MT 59485.
The park is 3.5 miles north of Ulm, just off of Interstate 15 at Exit 270.

First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park is one of the largest buffalo jumps in North America. The visitor center and interpretive trails tell the story of the people, the animals and the landscape of the buffalo culture. In 2013, more than 15,300 people visited this state park.
