Encore "Music by the Park" At Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park - Saturday, August 23 at 11am

(Whitehall, MT) –Montana State Parks ( presents an encore day of "Music by the Park" at Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park on Saturday, August 23 from 11am until dark.

Take 2! Our first concert festival was so much fun Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park will host a second day of "Music by the Caverns." This day of music features some of Southwest Montana’s best musical talent. Enjoy new acts and some returning performers from the first performance. This performance will take place in the upper park at the Cave Visitor Center. Visit the caverns and check out some great music before and after your tour!
The Concert Line Up:
11am - The Hollowtoppers folk and old time music
12pm - David Cogley, Ron Hull and Rick Wine; classic country, bluegrass and other
1pm - Donna Weldon classic country; cowboy and folk muic
2pm - The Hollowtoppers; folk and old time music
3pm - Annie Rose  and Gary Moranl;  Americana
4pm - Kyle Boundy;  jazz and blues
5pm - Ron Jung;  John Denver songs and etc.
6pm - Jam Session Lower Area of the Park. The public is invited to participate. Bring your instruments and voices.

The Hollowtoppers are from Pony,MT. Brian Rumsey is a great banjo player. Janet Zimmerman
plays guitar, David Zimmerman plays fiddle. All three sing.

David Cogley, Ron Hull and Rick Wine all play with the Seldom Paid Jammers in Helena. David, from Montana City plays mandolin. Ron, on the guitar loves to sing Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and Ray Price songs. Rick is very versatile, sings many different styles, plays guitar and bass as well as being a sound man.

Donna Weldon from Whitehall teaches private music lessons and enjoys having the audience sing along. She usually plays guitar, but might have a mandolin or dobro. She is also a tour guide at the caverns.

Annie Rose and Gary Moran, excellent vocalists and guitarists, live near Whitehall and have performed professionally at many venues all over.

Kyle Boundy, from Helena and a student at Montana Tech in Butte, is a self taught guitarist and plays mostly jazz and blues. He is also a tour guide at the caverns.

Ron Jung from Whitehall loves to sing John Denver songs and other. He will be accompanied by Donna Weldon

What: Music by the Caverns #2 Music Festival

When: Saturday August 23, from 11am until dark

Where: Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park, Cave Visitor Center and Jam Session at the campground.
This concert is free to Montana residents and those registered to camp that evening in the park’s campground.  There is a $5 per vehicle entrance fee for any non-residents who would like to attend.
