Celebrate Earth Day at Giant Springs State Park -Saturday, April 22nd 2017, 10am-12pm

(Great Falls, MT) – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) will host an Earth day celebration at Giant Springs State Park on Saturday, April 22nd from 10am to 12pm.

Kids! Join Park Ranger Tamara Tollett for our annual Earth Day event. Learn about trees and their importance to us and other creatures. We’ll also discover how they produce air for us to breathe, provide homes for wildlife, control the climate, and so much more! We will wrap up the walk by planting trees in the Park.

Participants will meet at the Giant Springs Ranger Station. The program is FREE and open to all youth. Also, all children will receive Stewardship coins from Montana State Parks. Please dress accordingly and be prepared to get dirty and dig some holes for the trees.  Parents, please plan to attend with your children.
