Volunteers Sought for Earth Day Tree Planting at Milltown State Park -Saturday, April 22 from 2-5pm
(Missoula, MT) – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) is seeking volunteers to help with a tree planting event in celebration of Earth Day at Milltown State Park on Saturday, April 22 from 2-5pm.
Join staff from Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks as they plant trees and forbs (flowering plants) on the restored floodplain of the Clark Fork River. This is a family-friendly event. We ask participants to wear sturdy shoes and bring work gloves. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Meet at the Clark Fork Arena located on Highway 210 in Piltzville.
Directions: Take I-90 to the Bonner Exit and follow Highway 200 to its junction with
Highway 210. Continue 2/10 of a mile and look for the Earth Day sign
(turn at the first right past the caboose).
