Montana State Parks & Recreation Board Meeting in Billings -Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 12:15pm

(Billings, MT) – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) announced today that the Montana State Parks & Recreation Board will hold a meeting on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 12:15pm at the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks (FWP) Region 5 Headquarters located at 2300 Lake Elmo Drive, Billings, MT.

The Parks Board will take action on a proposed Travelers’ Rest State Park Acquisition and the FWP Draft Forest Management Plan. Informational updates will be heard on Parks/Enforcement discussion and Hell Creek State Park. In addition to the meeting, the Board will hold a work session from 9am to 11:30am to discuss Parks funding and budget updates.

The public is invited to attend this meeting. Public comment for items not on the agenda is scheduled for 1pm. The Board may take action on all matters specifically noted on this agenda. Agenda times may vary as much as one hour – earlier or later. The meeting will be available online at: http://stateparks.mt.gov/
