Earth Day Weed Pull at Giant Springs State Park - Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 10am to 11:30am
(Great Falls, MT) – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) will host a weed pull at Giant Springs State Park in honor of Earth Day on Saturday, April 21st from 10 am to 11:30 am.
Earth Day is a great opportunity for us to give back to our public lands and natural resources. Here is your chance to pitch in! Join us at Giant Springs for a tutorial on how to identify weeds before heading out in to the Park to pull them.
Volunteers will meet at the Ranger Station at 10 am. The park will provide work gloves, safety vests, and garbage bags. Please wear long pants, other weather appropriate clothing, and good hiking shoes.
