Earth Day Tree Planting and Guided Hike at Milltown State Park
(Missoula, MT) – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) is seeking volunteers for an Earth Day tree planting at Milltown State Park on Saturday, April 21st from 2-5pm.
Help Milltown State Park by planting native trees to celebrate Earth Day! Volunteers will meet at the park Overlook and enjoy a guided hike or a shuttle ride down to the planting site on the Clark Fork River floodplain. The guided hike will be less than a mile.
No planting experience is necessary, and all ages are welcome. Please bring sturdy shoes, work gloves, and water. Volunteers should wear weather-appropriate clothing. Tools, extra gloves, and refreshments will be provided.
