Lost Creek State Park to Open to Full Use -Friday May 11, 2018

(Anaconda, MT) – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) announced today that Lost Creek State Park will open for full camping and road use on Friday, May 11, 2018. The snow on the park road has completely cleared off, and park staff will be working on small maintenance needs until the opening. The park’s “open” status will be monitored with potential for flooding due to early warm temperatures and unusually high snowpack in the Flint Creek Range.

For more information call the park visitor center at (406) 287-3541.

Lost Creek State Park is located near Anaconda, MT. From the exit 208 on I-90 on MT 1 North for 6miles, turn right onto MT 48 for .3 miles and left onto Galen Road, for 1.9 miles and then make a left onto Lost Creek Road and continue 7 miles until the road enters the park.

Visit Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) and enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, swimming, boating and more and discover some of the greatest natural and cultural treasures on earth.
