Makoshika State Park Summer Campfire Program: “McCarty Cabin History” -Friday June 15, 2018 at 7:00 pm
(Glendive, MT) – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) will host McCarty Cabin History at Makoshika State Park on Friday, June 15 at 7:00 pm.
In 2010 Catharine Calk McCarty donated her families summer cabin and surrounding acreage to Montana State Parks, completing the wish of the McCarty Family to have Makoshika’s badlands protected forever for the citizens of Montana and their guests. Join us to learn the history of the McCarty cabin, the McCarty family and their relationship to the park. Makoshika’s own Park Ranger Tom will present this program for your enjoyment. This program will take place at Makoshika State Park Visitor Center.
