Montana State Parks & Recreation Board Meeting at Travelers’ Rest State Park Friday, June 22, 2018 at 10:30 am

(Lolo, MT) – Montana State Parks ( announced today that the Montana State Parks & Recreation Board will hold a meeting at Travelers’ Rest State Park located at 6717 Hwy 12 W. in Lolo, MT on Friday, June 22. The Board will hold a work session to discuss the Parks Classification System at 9:00 am and the Board Meeting will start at 10:30 am.

The Parks Board will take action on a resolution in support of the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act. The Board will also hear informational updates for the State of the State Parks Division, Legislative Audit Committee Performance Audit, Outdoor Recreation Programs, Flathead Access Recreation Group, Capital Program, Montana State Parks Foundation, and Milltown Grand Opening Celebration.

The public is invited to attend the meeting. Public comment for items not on the agenda is scheduled for 4:00 pm. Agenda times are approximate and best estimate only. A live audio stream of the meeting will be available online at:
