Travelers’ Rest State Park Moves to Offseason Hours

(Lolo, MT) – Travelers’ Rest State Park announced today that the park is now observing offseason hours of operation.  The park will be open from 9:00am to 5:00pm daily with the visitor center and museum open from 10:00am to 4:00pm, Wednesday through Sunday; closed on Monday and Tuesday. Offseason hours will remain in effect until May 1, 2019. For more information call the visitor center at (406) 273-4253.

Where:  Travelers’ Rest State Park, 6717 Highway 12 W, Lolo, MT

Travelers’ Rest State Park, located in Lolo, Montana, is the only archaeologically verified campsite of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. For centuries Native Americans; including the Salish, Pend d’Oreille and Nez Perce, used the area as a campsite and trail junction. With Lolo Creek running through the park, Travelers’ Rest Sate Park is an idyllic spot for nature walks and bird watching.
