


From the Badlands to mountain lakes, a variety of amenities are offered to make your stay more comfortable. Amenities vary from park to park, so please check this web site carefully. You'll find clean restrooms, hot showers, boat launches, planned activities, playgrounds, hiking trails, sites for disabled persons, and more. For RV users, several campgrounds have dump stations, as well as campsites with electrical hookups. For your convenience, many campgrounds also offer firewood for sale. Fishing cleaning stations are located at Cooney, Hell Creek, and Tongue River Reservoir.

Campsites are available year-round at some parks. Please check each park for specific dates.
Check-out time is 1:00 PM. Camping in designated areas is limited to 14 days in any 30-day period, except in areas posted for a 7-day limit.
Camping fees are $15 per site for Montana residents and $23 for nonresidents. Fee for electrical hookup is $5.00 where available. Camping fees include a 4% accommodation tax, a 3% sales tax, and nonresident day use fee. Nonresidents who purchase a nonresident annual pass may deduct $5 from the camping fee. Additional fees are charged for showers, firewood, ice, and other amenities on site.
No fires are allowed outside designated burning pits.
