Big Arm State Park cordially invites you to the latest in circular camping comfort. A far cry from their 13th century nomadic Mongolian-inspired predecessors, these yurts are made of a wood lattice frame covered with insulated canvas walls. They have skylights that open, screened windows, solid floors and locking doors. The spacious 10-feet tall structures feature simple, comfortable furnishings. The 20-feet diameter yurts sleep up to six people; the 16-feet diameter yurts sleep up to four people. One yurt meets ADA standards for accessibility. Restrooms are a short walk from the yurts. Exterior decks provide spectacular views of Flathead Lake.
This is your turn-off-the-light, lock-the-door, enjoy-the-rain-on-the-roof form of camping. Yurts are a perfect alternative to camping and a great way to enjoy the beauty of nature without roughing it.
