State Park & FAS Closures and Restrictions
Below is a list of emergency and construction closures that may affect your recreational use of State Parks and Fishing Access Sites.
Also check current fire restrictions
as well as closures and restrictions of water bodies
and Wildlife Management Areas.

Trail Closures |
Trail closures and access to conservation area lands due to construction of power transmission lines. Northshore Trail from Rainbow Dam to Ryan Dam Road remains closed. Trails and conservation area lands east of Ryan Dam Road are now open to the public.

The latrine and boat ramp are not accessible. The existing river bank is very unstable and continues to fall into the river. Vehicular traffic is also limited due to the mud and silt left on the site. There are no designated campsites. |
Seasonal or Management Closures
WMAs that provide critical winter range for big game are typically close to public use from December 1 to noon on May 15. WMA open and close dates may vary.

Recreational Closures or Restrictions
Many WMAs provide the public with opportunities for recreational pursuits such as hiking, hunting, fishing, and wildlife watching. Certain recreational activies may be closed or restricted during times that are critical to the conservation of wildlife and habitat.
