Currently undeveloped, the park provides an ideal spot for hiking the day away. Sandstone bluffs overlook the Yellowstone River while deep canyons and ponderosa pine-lined coulees dot the landscape. The area provides good wildlife viewing and bird watching.

MEET THE PARK MANAGER

Terri Walters has been with Montana State Parks since 2000. She said, “I am looking forward to my twelfth season of creating as much fun as possible in Montana State Parks for our visitors.” Terri currently manages Lake Elmo, Greycliff Prairie Dog Town and Yellowstone River State Parks. She is originally from Western Pennsylvania where she attended Slippery Rock State University, graduating with a degree in Parks and Recreation.
