2020 Off-Highway Vehicle Grant Cycle Opens -Monday, December 2, 2019
(Helena, MT) –Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) will open the 2020 Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Program grant cycle on Monday, December 2, 2019. Applications will be accepted through the online system at fundingmt.org through Friday, February 28, 2020 at 3:00 pm.

Share Some Holiday Spirit at Makoshika State Park -Saturday, December 14 and 21 from 2-4pm
(Glendive, MT) – Celebrate the season with family-friendly holiday events at Makoshika State Park. On Saturday December 14, join us for ugly sweaters crafts. Kids will be able to make this paper craft and take it home to display in their home or on their Christmas tree. On Saturday December 21, kids can enjoy some food art when they make their own edible snowman or reindeer snack.

Montana State Parks Seeks Public Comment on 2020-2021 Fee Schedule
(Helena, MT) –Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) announced today that it is seeking public comment on the 2020/2021 Fee Schedule. If adopted, the fee schedule would be in effect from January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2021. Comments will be accepted through Sunday, December 22, 2019 at 5pm.

Fee Changes for 2019/2020 Snowmobile Trail Passes
(Helena, MT) – Snowmobilers and other groomed trail users in Montana will see changes to trail passes for the 2019/2020 riding season. Last spring, the 2019 Montana Legislature passed HB 355 which adjusted fees on the Montana Snowmobile Trail Pass and Non-resident Snowmobile Temporary Use Permit and designated a new Non-resident Groomed Trail Pass.
