Public Comment Open for Proposed Bonner Learning Park Donation to Milltown State Park
(Missoula, MT) – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) is seeking public comment on a draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for a proposed Bonner Learning Park (BPL) Property Donation to Milltown State Park near Missoula, MT. Comments will be accepted through Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 5pm.

Recreational Trails Program Opens 2019 Grant Applications
(Helena, MT) – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) will open the application cycle for the Recreational Trails Program (RTP)) on Thursday, November 1, 2018 through the online system at fundingmt.org. The application deadline is January 31, 2019 at 11:59pm.

Completion of Makoshika Road Project Delayed Until Spring 2019
(Glendive, MT) – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) announced that the main access road into Makoshika State Park will remain closed for construction until spring 2019. The $1.85 million project was expected to be completed in October, but construction was put on hold due to unseasonably cold temperatures.

Montana State Parks Seeks Comment on Several Proposals
(Helena, MT) – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) is seeking public comment on several proposals, including extension of the Smith River Biennial Fee Rule, East Gallatin Management Agreement, and Lands Transfer Policy Revisions. Public comments will be accepted through Friday, November 30, 2018 at 5pm.
